On Wednesday 26th 48 Students went to MacGregor High School to participate in the MacG Connect program. Students have the opportunity to attend a Science and Technolgy program offered by the high school to strengthen the ties between the Primary and High school.
24 students were taken to the science lab and shown experiments with temperature and materials with the effects of dry Ice. In the program Students will explore the effects of population growth in the local area by analysing water samples and testing ph levels and salinity.
The second group were given a tour of the Technolgy Block where Year 12 students were building drones. The children were then taken to a computer lab and shown how to use a 3D Cad drawing program where they were able to create a a 3D name tag. The name tag is to be 3D printed during the week.
The Program will be ongoing for the next 5 weeks.
