At the Senior assembly this week information regarding National Sorry day and National Reconciliation Week was shared with the students, staff, parents and carers. It is important for all members of the community to understand the history of Australia. Please link into the following websites for more
information and ways to get involved. Your children will be learning about this in class. I would like to say thank you to everyone at the assembly on Monday for listening so respectfully during former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd’s Apology.
Reconciliation must live in the hearts, minds and actions of all Australians as we move forward, creating a nation strengthened by respectful relationships between the wider Australian community and Aboriginal and Torres
Strait Islander peoples.
Make reconciliation part of your story and your future.
