MacGregor State School became an Independent Public School
(IPS) in 2014 and established a School Council in that year. Our School Council
was gazetted on 27 February 2015. School Councils are established to enable
greater involvement of our school community and other stakeholders in setting
the strategic direction of our school.
The role of our School Council is to:

Monitor our school's strategic direction;
·
Approve strategic plans and policies of our
school;
·
Approve the annual estimate of revenue and
expenditure for our school;
·
Advise our school Principal about strategic
matters;
·
Work with others to continue to position
MacGregor State School as a school of choice in the years ahead.
Our School Council elected members meet four (4) times a
year. Elections for new members are advertised in our school e-Newsletter.

I have the joy of nurturing young minds at the kindergarten, where every day is an adventure filled with laughter and learning. In addition to my work, I run my own small business, allowing me to pursue my entrepreneurial dreams while balancing family life. I'm a proud mum of two wonderful daughters, ages 3 and 7, who inspire me every day with their curiosity and creativity. Together, we love exploring the arts, attending theater performances, musicals, and visiting museums. Our family also enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring parks, and embracing the beauty of nature. I believe in the power of community and creativity, and I'm always eager to connect with others who share similar passions."
