School council

MacGregor State School became an Independent Public School (IPS) in 2014 and established a School Council in that year. Our School Council was gazetted on 27 February 2015. School Councils are established to enable greater involvement of our school community and other stakeholders in setting the strategic direction of our school.
The role of our School Council is to:
·         Monitor our school's strategic direction;
·         Approve strategic plans and policies of our school;
·         Approve the annual estimate of revenue and expenditure for our school;
·         Advise our school Principal about strategic matters;
·         Work with others to continue to position MacGregor State School as a school of choice in the years ahead.
Our School Council elected members meet four (4) times a year. Elections for new members are advertised in our school e-Newsletter.
Please contact our Principal if you would like more information on our School Council.
