Paula Davoren was a compassionate and highly committed lady who devoted her services as a member of the Lion's Club of Brisbane MacGregor for over twenty-three years.

Serving as a former President of the club and holding many other positions within the Lion's Organisation, Paula was a person of great integrity and a deeply valued member of both the Club and its wider communities. Paula was awarded life membership of Lions Clubs International in recognition of her ongoing commitment and service to the community.

In her memory, the Lion's Club of Brisbane MacGregor was gifted a bequest that was to be used within the MacGregor community. MacGregor State School takes great pride in the announcement of the Paula Davoren Bursary Award, presented in partnership with MacGregor State High School, to a Year 6 student who shows exemplary commitment and determination to their academic and citizenship endeavours.
