Queensland school libraries positively influence the learning outcomes of students through teaching multiple literacies and encouraging a lifelong love of learning and reading. In 2018, QSLA introduced the inaugural Queensland School Library Week (QSLW) to highlight the important work of school libraries. QSLW is celebrated in February each year. It provides us with an opportunity to showcase the excellent work of all qualified teacher-librarians and library staff around Queensland.
Queensland School Library Week will be celebrated from Monday 15 to Friday 19 February. Our theme is School Libraries - Unlocking the Future.
