Indigenous students taste, learn and explore with Aunty Dale from 'My Dilly Bag'

On Monday 8th of June, MacGregor State School was privileged to host Aunty Dale and Ashley from the indigenous organisation ‘My Dilly Bag’.

MacGregor High and MacGregor State School students were taken on a bush tucker culinary journey smelling, crushing, and tasting native Australian Bush Tucker.  It was an adventure for the senses for our indigenous students and a wonderful way to learn about their sense of belonging to country and what their ancestors would have feasted on.

Thank you to Aunty Dale and Ashley for providing such an amazing experience for our students, and to the P&C for supporting this opportunity.
